Bespoke Hardwood Conservatories

At Mark George Conservatories, we build both Traditional and Contemporary style bespoke hardwood Conservatories and Orangeries. Our individual buildings add value to your property by introducing light and a well designed space, so enhancing your quality of life.

Mark George Conservatories and Orangeries are constructed in a workshop combining traditional joinery methods with modern advances in component technology as necessary, to create a hardwood extension made to last and enjoy, no matter what the weather is doing outside.

New Conservatories

Despite specialising in the repair of timber conservatories, should we find that your conservatory is beyond economical repair we can build you a new bespoke hardwood replacement. We can either match the new conservatory to your existing design or if you prefer, we can create a completely new individual conservatory design for you, taking care to complement the architecture and setting of your house but still following the footprint of your existing base so avoiding the need of a builder.

At MGC we work to the highest of specifications and we are able to offer a variety of finishing touches and details. With our vast experience of our maintenance work behind us, we are able to offer you both practical advice with a building designed to stand the test of time.

We keep abreast of the advances in glass technology and glass sealant and go the extra mile to ensure that our double glazed units are the best quality on the market. We also only use selected hardwood timbers from sustainable sources which are both durable and meet with BS 1186.

Orangeries

Orangeries are a classic, timeless design and were originally built to house exotic plants and fruit trees. They are a more substantial extension than your average conservatory and have become more popular again in recent years. Traditionally they are designed with more brick or stone work, columns and moulding details and incorporate a Roof Lantern instead of a fully glazed roof.

Orangeries are featuring open plan kitchen and living areas nowadays and with the inclusion of bi-folding doors, are an excellent addition to any home to bring the outside in. Click here to see Gallery.

If Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent and Building Regulations are required, we are able to offer this as part of our service.
